Digital Marketing Consulting

An experienced outside view of your marketing (what is working, what is wasting money, and what to do next) delivered as a plan you can act on, with us or without us.

An outside read on your marketing, and a plan for what's next

Digital marketing consulting is advisory work: an experienced marketer reviews your current activity, results and market, and gives you direction: which channels to invest in, which to cut, how to set the budget, and what order to do things in. It is for business owners and marketing managers who need clarity and a plan rather than another vendor to manage. The Leads Hub has consulted for Toronto and Greater Toronto Area businesses since 2007. Note that we no longer offer marketing training or coaching programmes; this is strategic consulting focused on decisions and plans.

The work is grounded in your numbers. We look at where your enquiries and customers actually come from, what each channel costs and returns, how your website converts, what competitors are doing, and where the obvious leaks are: spend on channels that do not convert, a site that undermines good traffic, no follow-up on leads that go cold. From there we prioritise: the few changes likely to make the biggest difference to enquiries and cost per acquisition.

You come away with a written plan: channel priorities, budget allocation across those channels, a sequenced 90-day and 12-month roadmap, the specific changes to make first, and the metrics and reporting cadence to hold it all to. Engagements range from a one-off strategy review, delivered in a few weeks, to a light ongoing advisory arrangement where we meet monthly or quarterly to review performance, interpret what the numbers are actually saying, and adjust course before a quarter is wasted. It suits an owner who wants a second opinion before committing budget, or a marketing manager who needs an experienced sounding board and some air cover for the recommendation. If you decide you want help executing, our service teams can take on any part of the plan, but there is no obligation and no pressure; plenty of clients take the plan and run it entirely in-house.

Digital marketing consulting FAQs

An advisor answering a client's questions about digital marketing consulting, with floating question-mark cards for scope, channels and reporting

Do you offer marketing training or coaching?

No. We used to, but the business is focused on consulting and delivery now. Engagements are about diagnosing your marketing and producing a plan, not teaching a course.

Do we have to hire you to execute the plan?

No. The deliverable is a plan you own. Many clients implement it with an in-house team. If you do want help, our service teams can take on any part of it.

How long does a consulting engagement take?

A one-off strategy review is usually two to four weeks depending on data access. Ongoing advisory is a lighter monthly commitment with regular review sessions.

What do you need from us to start?

Access to your analytics, ad accounts and any sales or CRM data on where customers come from, plus time with whoever owns marketing decisions. The better the data, the sharper the plan.
